The Yankees trade with the Cleveland Indians for Andrew
Miller will take years to sort out a true “winner” but right now you have to
think this deal is looking good for both clubs. The Yankees got a key reliever
that has already made his MLB debut in Ben Heller, a new top prospect in Clint
Frazier and today’s weekly check in showcase LHP Justus Sheffield. Heller has
toiled around in the majors while Frazier has struggled a bit to transition to
his new team but there has been no such struggles with Sheffield. This guy is
dominating down in Tampa with the Tampa Yankees.
Sheffield has all the talent and the makings of being
something special and I can’t wait to see how he grows in the organization.
