Preview: New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox 4/24

The New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox will play the finale of their three game set this week at Fenway Park tonight in Boston. The Yankees will send their ace CC Sabathia to the mound to face off with Felix Doubront for the Boston Red Sox, a lefty vs. lefty matchup. The game will be played tonight at 7:10 pm ET and can be seen on the YES Network, MLB Network, on the computer with MLB TV, and on the radio with WFAN.

CC Sabathia held the Tampa Bay Rays to just two runs over seven innings last time out in a much needed confidence building victory. The Red Sox faced Sabathia and were silenced on April 11 through five innings before CC gave up the big inning once again and allowed four runs in the sixth before the only loss of the series. Sabathia allowed two home runs in that sixth inning and hopes to keep the ball down tonight in Fenway.

Doubront has two quality starts in his last two times out there including one against the Yankees but has little to show for it. Doubront and the Red Sox lost the start against New York and Felix and his Red Sox were tough luck losers his last time out against the Baltimore Orioles when he allowed two runs on five hits in 6.1 IP. Doubront took the no decision his last time out and looks to rebound tonight against the Yankees.

Go Yankees!!
