MLB Nears Deal With Fox & TBS

MLB has announced that they are nearing a mega deal with both FOX and TBS for eight more years of broadcasting for the chump change total of $800 million. Fox keeps the World Series, as usual, and these two will split the post season so really it is a fancy way of saying nothing much will change for the fans. The teams though will see their part of the revenue pretty much double from $23 million and change to somewhere around $50 million. Now teams ownership like the Pirates, Rays, Royals, Padres, and Athletics can pocket even MORE free money, hooray revenue sharing!
