Yankees, David Robertson File Salary Arbitration Figures

Today was the deadline for teams and players to file their arbitration salary figures for the 2013 season. With the Yankees having only one player left that has not agreed upon a contract in David Robertson both sides submitted their salary figures. David Robertson has asked the arbitrators for $3.55 million, the Yankees have submitted a figure of $2.85 million, and MLB Trade Rumors predicted D Rob sign for $2.8 million so the sides are close. The Yankees still have time to come to agreement with D Rob before the arbitration goes to court so I fully expect this to get done with them being so close in numbers. Robertson still has one more year of arbitration left after this season and will be a free agent after the 2014 season.

Yankees Avoid Arbitration With Boone Logan

The New York Yankees and Boone Logan have agreed upon a one year deal for the 2013 season thus avoiding arbitration. Boone signed a deal worth $3.15 million while in his final year of arbitration. David Robertson is now the only arbitration eligible Yankees player without a contract for this coming season.
