Game Thread: New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox 7/14

Second half baseball in Boston, let’s get to it. Tonight the second half kicks off for both the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox in the first of a four-game set inside Fenway Park. Rivalry renewed. With these two teams likely to battle it out until the final weekend of the season in the AL East this is potentially a huge series for both teams. In the opener the Yankees will send Jordan Montgomery to the mound knowing the Yankees have some ground to make up in the division, no pressure, while the Red Sox will counter with LHP Drew Pomeranz. The game will be played at 7:10 pm ET inside Fenway Park and can be seen on the YES Network, NESN, MLB Network and MLB TV. You can also follow along on the radio by tuning into either WFAN or WCEC.

Follow us on Twitter as we kick off the second half and renew this rivalry once again by giving @GreedyStripes a follow. Enjoy the game and Go Yankees!
