Derek Jeter Begins Running & Will Amp Up Rehab

Derek Jeter has begun running for the first time since fracturing his left ankle and subsequently having surgery back in October. While it was only for five minutes and it was on a treadmill any progress for the Captain is good news. Jeter still looks to be on schedule for Opening Day and a somewhat normal Spring Training this season. Jeter has also been given every green light in his rehab and has no restrictions so the ankle must be healing/healed well. Great news all around!
