This Day In New York Yankees History 4/21
Not really New York Yankees news but on this day in 1994 Eddie Murray knocked a home run from both sides of the plate in an Indians 10-6 victory over the Twins at the Metrodome. The Yankees significance in this is that this is the 11th time Murray has hit a home run from both sides of the plate in the same game breaking the previous record held by Mickey Mantle in 1964.
