Chase Headley is back in the fold in the Yankees infield
which simplifies and pretty much etches in stone New York’s plan for the
infield defense. Let’s take a quick look here at what the Yankees lineup and
infield defense may/will look like in 2015.

I don't think there is any way that Rodriguez bats 8th...he should, but I don't think it will happen.

Until he proves he CAN"T do the job! I would start him out there, rather than insult him right at the start.
DeleteI don't know about you guys but I am hoping he is back to being at the minimum, a bit above avg.! He needs 47 hrs to be 4th in line and 100 hits to go over 3,000 hits, as a power hitter...that ain't to bad!!
I don't think the Yankees nor Joe Girardi have any respect for A Rod, have shown any respect to A Rod or will show any respect to A Rod.
DeleteIf the team wont even guarantee him a position what makes you think they bat him 5th KNepper?
Hell, they show more respect for Big Popi and Roger Clemens than for their own.
DeleteIf I ever wanted someone to get their sh-t together, I would give them something above their position, pay attention to the way they act with the responsibility.
Perception of A-Rod is the only thing they can see! He is going to have a hard job convincing them he can help the team win. He can convince the players much easier. But, it is what it is!
I'm an A Rod fan, the #13 still hangs in my Yankees man room, so I hope more than most that he comes out of the gates and forces Girardi's hand into playing him. The problem is I can't see him getting enough opportunities to do it.
