Joba Passes Final Test In Rehab Assignment

Joba Chamberlain seems like he passed his final test to come back to the majors yesterday after throwing in the second consecutive game in his rehab assignment. Joba gave up an infield single before getting two more ground ball outs (and a caught stealing) to end his inning. No word yet on his pitch count but his velocity was apparently in the mid 90's consistently so that is your biggest concern and he did well. Joba will throw a bullpen session in New York on Monday and will then wait to be activated to the big league club if all goes well there.
