Michael Pineda made his first rehab start since his major shoulder surgery last spring training and went an impressive 4.1 IP allowing two hits and an unearned run in 68 pitches. This start officially starts his 30 day rehab window and the Yankees want him to be around 90-100 pitches by the time this window ends.
Velociraptors: Pineda started around 91, peaking at 93, now around 90.

Told he threw 68 pitches: "it's not bad for my first time." Later: "my shoulder is ready for pitching'
