Register Now For Trenton Thunder's Charity Treasure Hunt

	Press Release - July 17, 2013 2ND ANNUAL TRENTON THUNDER CHARITIES TREASURE HUNT Saturday, August 10 Starting At ARM & HAMMER Park  (TRENTON, NJ) – The Second Annual Trenton Thunder Charities Treasure Hunt presented by First Choice Bank will be held on Saturday, August 10, giving adventurous Thunder fans the chance to participate in a real life treasure hunt, enjoy a ball game and raise much needed funds for charity.    The Treasure Hunt will send participating teams of two to four people on excursions throughout the area as they hunt for items that need to be collected (example: a Trenton Thunder hat), places that need to be visited (example: take a picture of a specific local landmark) and things that need to be done (example: take a photo with a firefighter).  All the items on the "Treasure List" will have different point values, so teams must strategize as they choose where to go and what to focus on.The use of a vehicle and smartphone are essential to competing and must be supplied by the participants.    The Hunt will conclude with a reception in the Picnic Area at ARM & HAMMER Park during the Trenton Thunder vs. Akron Aeros game that night at 7:05pm. The game will feature post-game fireworks presented by First Choice Bank. There is a $1,000 cash prize for the team that tallies the most points during the hunt. All participants will receive a Trenton Thunder Treasure Hunt T-Shirt and a ticket to the August 10th game with picnic buffet. The cost to participate is a $25 per person donation to Trenton Thunder Charities and all teams must consist of between two and four members. Participants can register online attrentonthunder.com or by phone, 609-394-3300 ext 180.  On August 10, check in will begin at noon and the teams will depart to begin hunting at 1:00pm.   Participants who wish to bring guests to the post-hunt reception during the Thunder game must register their guests in advance and pay $25 for each game/picnic ticket. The 2nd Annual Trenton Thunder Charities Treasure Hunt is presented by First Choice Bank with support from Frontier Airlines, The Trentonian, Special Olympics New Jersey, Jersey Girl Cafe,Thomas Edison State College, New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance, Five Guys Burgers and Fries,Abbott's Frozen Custard, Crown Trophy, and Quakerbridge Pharmacy.  Trenton Thunder Charities is still seeking sponsors for this event. Restaurants, stores and more can be listed on the Treasure List for as little as $100.
