Derek Jeter Walks In Latest Rehab Game

Derek Jeter was held without a hit in his rehab assignment game last night in three at bats but he did draw a walk. Jeter also had a strike out and a run scored in what was his next to the last tune up game before returning to the big league club. Jeter played seven innings at short stop and almost grounded into two double plays in the game. The good news is he ran the bases, fielded five ground balls, and the leg seems to be completely healed and that is all that matters at this point. Expect to see Derek Monday night when we travel to play the Toronto Blue Jays.
