When Gary Sanchez was called up to Triple-A he came up to Scranton with a huge bat and a great attitude for the RailRiders. Sanchez has since cooled off and is mired in the middle of a pretty bad slump that will hopefully turn around soon enough. He still is hitting for power but a 7-for-48 slump can hurt anyone's batting line.
Sanchez is just one home run away from tying his career high that he set back in 2012 with 18 home runs after hitting his 17th home run of the season on Saturday. Hopefully Sanchez can turn things around soon for Scranton and keep knocking on Hal Steinbrenner and Brian Cashman's door in the Bronx.
