  2. Big suspension coming from the MLB.

  3. Dont see how the Union will let a 100 game ban for Arod and Braun stand without a documented first offense. Cervelli probably busted too means we are without a MLB caliber catcher for the rest of the year.

  4. More reason to try and get McCann

  5. Matthew....good evening.
I do not know McCann. Is he a 3rd baseman? Have you heard something?
A heads up would be appreciated. Thanks.

  6. I never realized this before, but other than Braun, that list is all Hispanic. Very strange.

  11. Great read on why MLB is handling this situation all wrong http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/06/04/when-it-comes-to-drugs-major-league-baseball-has-learned-nothing-from-the-past-wishes-to-learn-nothing-in-the-future/

  12. Yeah, that won't fly. And what about guys like Melky, Colon and Grandal who were already suspended? Wouldn't it be considered double-jeopardy to suspend them again? They can say they were already punished for their use since they technically haven't been proven to do anything wrong since their suspensions.

  13. Oh and you are correct.....that's the first thing I thought about in terms of the Yanks.....don't really care if ARod comes back this yr because at least we have Youk and Adams but we have nothing behind the plate. I wonder how the salary saved is computed in terms of luxury tax. If Arod is suspended for 50 games the yanks would save close to $9 Million this year. maybe they use that $9 Million to acquire a high priced player for the rest of the yr like when they signed Wells with the money saved from Teixeira's injury in the WBC.
