Yankees catcher JR Murphy has been promoted from AA Trenton Thunder to the AAA Scranton Wilkes Barre Team. JR is really having a coming out party this season and this promotion is well deserved and very overdue. Also this clears the Trenton Thunder catching job for Gary Sanchez to come up and grab as he is tearing it up down in Tampa. Congrats to JR Murphy as he takes the next step to the major leagues and to the Bronx.
