  1. #28 is probably a good spot for Gumbs. Prior to 2013, I had him a lot higher. But he struggled badly when he got promoted to Tampa and never got on track when he got demoted to Charleston. Plus, he got injured again, which seems to be common with him. I hope he starts to figure things out, because we could really use some middle infielders in the coming years.

  2. On last year's list I had Gumbs ranked in the high 10's or maybe even 20, cant remember. He has fallen quite a bit.

  3. Well he's still fairly young. A lot of players taken right out of high school take a while to develop. But he's been in the system for three
    years and has yet to make it out of A ball or make it through a full season without getting injured. I'm rooting for him though. A lot of raw talent.
