  1. Okay, I didn't go back and check his stats before I opened my big mouth. But isn't he like 23 years old and struggled when he went from low a to high a? I know his era at high a was like 6.06. He has great swing and miss stuff, but at his age he shouldn't struggle at any level. I f this is our #2 prospect, we're in a world of hurt.

    1. You have to remember he lost like two years to visa issues. He is 23 but really like 21 when it comes to development. That's one of the many reasons I am especially high on him. I am the only one so don't worry about the state of the system, I am alone on this island.

    2. You're not alone my friend. I like him too. Not as much, but definitely top ten. I just think that Turley, Campos, and Ramirez are better. Not on pure stuff, but certainly on major league readiness. If he has a great (not good) year, I will apologize to you profusely. In the meantime, I view him as our 5th best starting prospect.

    3. Well of course, but you have to factor in all that stuff when you make these lists. If people can include Ian Clarkin in their top 5, which I have seen a ton of, then why not DePaula? Clarkin barely threw a pitch. Judge never swung a bat and is top 5 on a lot of lists.
