CC holds Marlins hitless through five as Yankees complete 2-0 day

Thanks to five shutout innings in which Miami didn't get a single hit from starter CC Sabathia, RBI Singles from Carlos Beltran and Francisco Cervelli, and a scoreless inning of relief from Closer David Robertson, the Yankees were able to beat the Marlins pretty easily today in Panama City, 7-0. Of the fifteen outs CC recorded in this one, 5 were impressively strikeouts, making everybody now wonder: has he actually lost anything, or was this just his one good game?

Anyway, if you've been paying attention to the Bombers record lately you'd know that this W improves the team's spring record to a winning 11-9-2 (counting the FSU game), so yea, they're looking better than usual right now. Whether or not this'll actually help them in the transition to the regular season is still unknown, but it certainly can't hurt anything, right?
