The Yankees and the Padres play game two of their three game set at Petco Park tonight on YES and MLB TV. The pitching match up is Ivan Nova for the Yankees and Tyson Ross for the Padres. Nova had an amazing July with a 2.03 ERA in four starts holding opponents to a .188 batting average, not that the offense helped him much in those starts. Hopefully Nova has turned the corner and can build on this success and ride it all the way to the playoffs. Ross was dominant in his last start against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Ross sports a very healthy 2.90 ERA this season in six decisions so hopefully we can get to him early and often.
