Yankees blown out in A-Rod's return by White Sox, 8-1

From now on, I will no longer make excuses. This Yankees team simply isn't going to win much this year. In tonight's opener in Chicago, they went down without any kind of a fight, 8-1. Andy Pettitte, a man who has had a great career up to this point, gave up 7 runs in just 2.2 innings, causing his record to fall to 7-9. In his career, Pettitte has never had a record worse than 12-12, but this year things have been different, very different.

In his 2013 debut tonight, Alex Rodriguez went 1-for-4 with a single. Besides that, there is nothing I consider worthy of reporting.
