UPDATE: Chris has strained ligaments on the top of his left foot. Nothing is broken but, hopefully anyway, the Yankees will baby him and let him sit out for the Baltimore series.
I didn't catch it myself, but when Chris Stewart was hit in the foot by a pitch in the third inning of today's game, he injured himself. It actually wasn't until the 6th inning that Stewart was replaced by Romine, so I'm sure I wasn't the only one that missed that.
While the Yankees are calling it a bruise, Chris is being sent for precautionary x-rays. I don't like to see anybody get hurt, but seeing as how I'd like Romine to get more playing time I'm not broken up by this news.
