Yankees Sign Joe Girardi To New Four Year Deal

The New York Yankees have announced that they have reached an agreement on a new four year deal with their manager Joe Girardi worth $16,000,000. Girardi has been the Yankees manager for six seasons including four postseason appearances and one World Series championship. Girardi is now among the games highest paid managers so welcome back to New York Joe, no pressure.

    4. Girardi did a great job this year until the end. Team looked dead right after they got 2 games back. of WC.

      Girardi is smart and has backing of players ....sometimes overthinks situations and makes bad moves but at least he can think at advanced level.

    One thing to remember, I said it wouldn't be done until after november. I didn't know about the Cubs intrest at all. Sorry, my bad!

    Also, let us remember all the times I had Joe G's back while YOU and many, many others wanted his blood! Being fair, is something you should try, it makes one feel good.

    I take that back, stay as you are, it's much more fun

    1. I am just glad we got this done. This was step one, the A Rod decision is step two. sooner we get this done the sooner we can plan for 2014.

      Cisco and Andy used for the same reasons it seems and therefore, Cisco may get a better reception than at first thought by some of the Fans. Although both cheated, I (for one) can give them a little slack.
