Dean (of the minors) Anna filled a colume in a Yankee win over Boston 4-1

I guess the game has two story's that are good signs for the team going forward!

The biggest story but not the most important of the two is Dean Anna hitting a home run in the 5th, after about 500+ games in the minors, nice feel good story!

Team wise, other than Pineda pitching very well with a win was; the way Cabral and Phelps shut the door in the 8th and 9th innings. They both combined for 5 Strike Outs of the 9 outs they needed...Phelps got the Save, his 1st.

McCann (can) got his first...of many more...hits in the 4th with an RBI single.

Ellsbury RBI against his old team in the 5th was a sight to see, and against his old roommate at that!

Jeter got 2 hits to move himself close to the magic .300 mark.

Has Solarte come back to earth? He went 0 for 3 with a strike out! It did take a very fine catch to rob him of one hit that would have dropped in without a lay-out dive by Nava who sprinted in and made a "WOW Type" sprawling catch on Solarte's fly to right field leading off the third.

I am looking forward to see more great play from both Anna and Solarte!
