Game Thread: Yankees vs. Red Sox 4/10

The New York Yankees will host the Boston Red Sox in the first meeting between the two of the 2014 American League East rivalry, rivalry renewed. The pitching match up will be Michael Pineda for the Yankees and Clay Buchholz for the Red Sox. Pineda took the loss in a quality start last time out striking out five and walking none while hitting 95 MPH on the radar gun against the Toronto Blue Jays last time out. Buchholz got hit around by the Milwaukee Brewers giving up six runs on six hits, two of them home runs, in a loss. Buchholz doesn't have good career numbers at New York as he sports a 5.32 ERA and a career 1.60 WHIP against New York, something the Yankees will look to capitalize on tonight.

The game will be televised at 7:05 pm et on the YES Network, MLB Network, on your computer with MLB TV, and on the radio with WFAN.

Here is the Yankees lineup:

Brett Gardner LF
Derek Jeter SS
Jacoby Ellsbury CF
