Radiology Affiliates Imaging, Trenton Thunder and ARM & HAMMER Park turning pink in support of breast cancer awareness
The Thunder will trade in their pinstripes for pink camo when they take the field on June 6th. The Trenton Thunder and Radiology Affiliates Imaging are turning ARM & HAMMER Park pink in support of breast cancer awareness. The Thunder will play against the Altoona Curve with gates opening at 6:00pm and the game beginning at 7:05pm. The first 1,500 fans 18 and older will receive an exclusive pink Thunder cap courtesy of RAI.

As part of the pink event, players will wear special pink jerseys especially made for the event. All jerseys will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Resource Center located in Princeton, NJ. For more than 40 years, BCRC has been providing free programs designed to help women in our community through the entire breast cancer journey – from diagnosis through treatment, recovery, survivorship, and even recurrence.

Turning the Park Pink will also be the first official event of the RAI Survivor’s Club. Members will receive tickets to the game and will also be honored on the field in addition to throwing the first pitch. To register RAI has plans to host events throughout the year to give survivors a platform to share their stories and encourage those just beginning their journey.

RAI will also be honoring their mammography technologists for their years of dedication to delivering the message regarding breast health, early detection and the importance of yearly mammograms.

In addition to RAI and the Trenton Thunder we also welcome the Breast Cancer Resource Center, Windsor Radiology and Pink Ribbon Softball to the concourse. Information and giveaways will be available throughout the evening.
