We are just a few hours away from the beginning of a big
series between the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles. The series is
important for both clubs as both teams are locked into a struggle in both the
American League East Division race and the 2nd Wild Card race in the
American League. This got me thinking, how have the Yankees fared against the
Orioles this season? I know in years past New York has had a tendency to lay
down against teams they “should’ beat while always playing the better teams in
the league tough but without looking I feel like the Yankees have taken it that
extra step forward against Baltimore specifically so I looked it up and here
are my findings.
