TGP Trivia and Fact of the Day for March 5th, 2019

Good morning Yankees family!

The Yankees made one of their finest trades in the franchise's history on March 22, 1972, sending Danny Cater and a player to be named later (Mario Guerrero in June) to the Boston Red Sox for Sparkly Lyle. Lyle starred in the Yankees bullpen and won the 1977 American League Cy Young Award while, and not to be disrespectful by any means, I've never even heard of Danny Cater or Mario Guerrero.

The best trade that I ever made in my personal life was when I traded anger, depression, and unhappiness for the one thing in the world that has made me happier than I could have ever dreamed... my wife, Kari. I love you and I am forever grateful for you as well!
