Feliciano Shaky In Latest Rehab Assignment

Pedro Feliciano seems like he has cleared yet another hurdle as he entered a game for the Trenton Thunder last night. Feliciano for the first time in this rehab pitched in back to back games and also for the first time came in during the middle of an inning. Pedro faced two batters with runners on 2nd and 3rd and nobody out. He induced a ground ball for the first batter, although a runner scored, and then walked his second batter. Mixed in there was a passed ball that allowed a second inherited runner to score. Pedro threw five pitches and only one of them was a strike.

Mike Ashmore spoke with Feliciano and tells us that Feliciano will pitch again on Thursday and if all goes well he will be in the major leagues when the rosters expand on Saturday. What a road back for Feliciano who is actually way ahead of schedule. Great work Pedro!
