mug3Good morning all.   Not looking good so far as the Yankees are 0-2 and Kuroda left the game early last night.   Let's get the morning going with some links.

-- Barry Bloom of Yankees.com writes that Mark Teixeira is targeting a May 1st return.   (what will the Yankees record be then?)

-- Scott Cacciola of The New York Times writes that Kuroda and the Yankees pride are hurting.

-- Andrew Marchand of ESPN NY looks into Pettitte pitching in the cold.

  1. And if news couldn't get worse. Ty Hensley Yankees first round pick last year is out 2 to 3 months after having hip surgery.

  2. Worse than the surgery itself is the fact that a guy that young now has a bum hip.

  3. with as late as the short season leagues start he may not miss much time at all on the mound. not only that but instructs get underway and he can keep on throwing until he hits his innings goal. the real question is how much hip bone impingement repair can hamper a pitchers ability.
