The New York Yankees signed Dan Johnson in the off season before the 2013 season and have had him stashed in AAA with the Scranton Wilkes Barre RailRiders until today when they released him. Johnson put up a .253/.379/.447 in 559 plate appearances this season playing a pretty good first base in his age 34 season.
