The New York Yankees have announced that they are pushing back Phil Hughes next start from Sunday afternoon against the Baltimore Orioles to Monday in an afternoon game against the Chicago White Sox. The Yankees have very little room for error here so if they are not going to take Hughes out of the rotation at least he will be pitching against one of the worst teams in the American League and not against a team that is in front of us in the playoff hunt. Hughes has allowed five home runs in 14 IP against the Orioles this season and owns a 2.00 WHIP and a 7.00 ERA this season when facing Baltimore.
