Game Thread: New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays 9/11

Here we go ladies and gentleman one last time as the New York Yankees remain home in the Bronx to play host to their division rival Tampa Bay Rays. The finale of the four-game set will take place this afternoon inside Yankee Stadium with Luis Cessa taking the mound for New York and Matt Andriese taking the mound for Tampa Bay. The game will be played at 1:05 pm ET and can be seen on the YES Network and MLB TV.

Not to look ahead too much, because I know the Yankees aren't, but tomorrow night New York welcomes the Los Angeles Dodgers to town for a historic three-game set. How often do we see the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees face off head-to-head let alone in the Bronx? Not often at all so if you want to see these games live click the Yankees Tickets link at the top of the blog and secure your seats now. If you can't make it live then you can at least root for the home team from afar and follow along with us by either liking our page on Facebook or by giving our Twitter handle @GreedyStripes a follow.

Need a win. Get a win. And never forget. Go Yankees!
