Jordan Montgomery has made leaps and bounds this season for
the New York Yankees and may be knocking on the door to the Bronx as soon as
next season because of it. Montgomery has quietly become one of the best
starting pitching prospects the Yankees have down in the minor leagues and was
last seen starting Game One of the Triple-A Championship series for the Scranton/Wilkes
Barre RailRiders. Even in the minor leagues and even at an affiliate like
Scranton who is fighting for the Governors Cup that has to mean a lot in terms
of what the team, the manager and the organization thinks of you, right?
Montgomery has opened some eyes finally and it looks like
his season is over after a stellar 2016 campaign. Here is the official stat
line for the Yankees stud right-hander. Enjoy and hello Saturday!
