Some Notes:

-- Add another Yankee to the DL when the Yankees break north for the regular season. Clay Rapada is slated to start the season on the 15-Day DL with shoulder bursitis.

-- Phil Hughes will throw in a minor league game today, according to Joe Girardi. Hughes is expected to go three innings throwing at least 50 pitches.

-- Derek Jeter will not play in another Major League Spring Training game this season. The Yankees are going to send him to minor league camp in case he's not ready for Opening Day and he could be backdated. Backdated simply means that instead of the Yankees getting Jeter back in 15 days if were to go on the DL, he could be back within five to seven days.

  1. Todays line-up looks like an audition for the remaining spots on the roster.

  2. If the Yankees can't patch this mess of a team should they blow it up by trading both CC and Cano before the season starts?

If selling tickets and having fans watching the Yes network is their goal then they're in trouble. I can not see them doing anything that will add them short term. I think there is too much negative discord amongst the fans to have a resurgence of tickets sales and upping Yes ratings for the next couple of seasons. Trying to patch this mess will just likely bring more and more fan apathy.

I don't think there is anything the Yankees can can do short term to fix things. So do you blow up the team?

    CC to the Rangers anyone?
    Cano to the Dodgers anyone?

    Who would you want back?
