Welcome to tonight’s open thread for the game between the
Tampa Bay Rays and the New York Yankees. The Yankees will play the first of
three games at Tropicana Field tonight, a stadium that has seemingly haunted
the Yankees for quite a few years now. The Yankees need no less than a sweep to
keep their AL East hopes alive and to stay in the Wild Card race. The Yankees
will send Brandon McCarthy to the mound looking to start a winning streak and
the Rays will counter with Alex Cobb. The game will be played at 7:05 pm ET and
can be seen on the YES Network, MLB TV, and can be heard on the radio with
WFAN.

Seriously? Offense shut out by the Rays. Is this what we're down to? What exactly does Cashman need to see before we make changes? I want to see Refsnyder strutting out to 2b every day. I want Beltran to go fix his elbow and see ya next year. That puts Tex and his sore vagina at DH. Enter Kyle Roller. Prado can play anywhere and is a benefit on the 2u5 man roster. So, to make room on the roster for my next pick, release/trade Ichiro and call up Austin/Judge. I don't care which, I want to see them both. That is the best case scenario I see for our offense.
