Hafner Finishes Yankees Career Making $3 Million Plus

Travis Hafner signed a one year deal with the Yankees worth $2,000,000 on February first with a ton of incentive kickers that could increase the deal to being worth $6,000,000.  With Hafner being added to the 60 day DL yesterday his season, and thus his Yankees career, is over and not a game too soon. Let's take a closer look at Hafner's performance bonuses and how much he earned this season by staying in the Yankees lineup:

*BOLDED DENOTES PLATEAU REACHED

Travis Hafner will finish his Yankees career, presumably anyway, making a whopping $3,125,000. Not bad for a .200 hitter with no power, no position in the field, or seemingly any skill whatsoever. I am in the wrong business...
