After rallying to beat the Solar Sox yesterday in Scottsdale, the Scorpions traveled to Mesa today to see if they could sweep this home-and-home against the AFL East's best team. Unfortunetally, they couldn't, as they lost by the score of 7-4. This defeat ends their current winning streak at 5, and drops their overall record to a still solid 7-7.
The only Yankees prospect who played in this one, Mason Williams, went 1-for-4 with a single and a walk. You can call that less than amazing, but you definitely can't deny that he's getting a lot of hits lately. So anyway, the Scorps lost today. But they had to evantually.
