Teixeira Leaves Game w/ Foot Injury

Mark Teixeira has left the Yankees game this afternoon with the Baltimore Orioles after being hit on the foot with a pitch. Teix was angry throwing his helmet and shin guard like he knew the bone was broken after trying to walk to first. Brendan Ryan replaced Teix on the bases and switched to second base after the inning.
