CC Sabathia has pitched in his second rehab stint, this time with the Trenton Thunder, and still has his knee connected to his body which is a win for all parties involved. Sabathia wen't 3.2 innings and threw 55 pitches, 33 for strikes, while giving up five runs (three earned) on five hits, one walk, one hit batsman, and two strikeouts. Sabathia sat comfortably at 88-90 MPH but did hit 92 MPH a couple times, which is encouraging.
This start came on three days rest so no word on how his body feels yet but I have to imagine if there was pain we would have heard by now. Great news.
