Two Yankee Minor Leaguers Suspended 50 Games
Two members of the New York Yankees farm system have been suspended 50 games for drug suspensions, right handed pitcher Andy Beresford and first baseman Leonard Thompson. Both players tested positive for amphetamines and will be suspended for 50 games without pay.
Beresford is a member of the Charleston Riverdogs while Thompson is in rookie ball.
